Disaster Mitigation Working Group aims to build up capacity of hazard risk analysis by case studies, based on deeper understanding approach. Over 20 case studies of various types of hazards had been carried out in collaboration with partners from 2015. Accordingly, the regional infrastructure, collaboration model and numerical simulation tools would be growing with more case studies. In the long run, case studies are expected to be reproducible, and partners could make use of those shared services to conduct new cases.  In this meeting, experiences from partners on their local needs or requirements will be shared.

By uniting leaders and stakeholders in a common mission, the REN Leaders Forum remains a vital platform for creating a more connected and innovative future for research and education across the Asia-Pacific region. This time, in two sessions, we will have discussions within the APAC region and with the other regional NRENs.
