Based in Kona, Big Island of Hawaii, Brian supports the strategic goals for ORCID Consortia member organizations in Scandinavia, the Asia Pacific region, and the United States and Canada. Before joining ORCID, Brian was a Scholarly Communications Librarian at Hong Kong Baptist University, where he was an advocate for open scholarship in Asia. He has also been a Systems Librarian at Innovative Interfaces and a Research Associate at University of San Francisco’s Ricci Institute for Chinese-Western Cultural History.
