What are Identity federation and how can they help researchers, academic and students to access services, collaborate and solve the big problems?

Identity federations provided multilateral arrangements that allow campuses to take advantage of the identity infrastructure and possibly of services offered at other institutions.

This session we will provide and introduction to identity federations, investigate their benefits, uses, technologies and policies and provide many references the participants use for further investigation.
