In 2018 APRP WG was established at APAN 48 at the Singapore Meeting
APRP WG develops technologies to provide AI-based computing environments and various computing resources by linking distributed HPC systems, establishing a stable big data highway system based on NREN in the big data era, and promoting related research collaboration in the Asian region.
There will be an introduction to various projects derived from APRP WG, their current status, and the related advanced application research areas at this APAN59th meeting. In addition, there will be an introduction to the latest technology trends centered in the US (NRP, GRP, etc.) and the current status and future work of 100G networks in the Asian region.
